JeeVrites Studio
Service terms
Who these terms are with
These terms cover client projects (websites, web applications, Notion systems and book design) by Jeevan Katta, trading as JeeVrites Studio, Hyderabad, Telangana, India. Your signed proposal sets the scope, price and dates for your project. If the proposal and these terms disagree, the proposal wins.
Products bought in the JeeVrites Shop are covered by the shop terms instead.
When a project starts
A project starts when the proposal is signed and the advance invoice is paid. Your start date is then reserved.
Payments
- Websites under ₹15,000 / $400, and Notion and book design projects: 50% to start, 50% after approval and before handover.
- Professional and Business Pro websites: 50% to start, 30% when you approve the design, 20% after staging approval and before launch and handover.
- Web applications: 40% to start, 20% on design approval, 20% at feature-complete on staging, 20% before production handover, unless the proposal sets other milestones.
- Maintenance: monthly or yearly in advance.
Invoices are due within 7 days. In India you can pay by UPI, card, net banking or bank transfer; outside India by card or PayPal. Indian prices exclude GST: if GST applies, it is added on the invoice. Payment-processor and currency-conversion fees on international payments are paid by the client.
Late payments
If an invoice is more than 7 days overdue, work pauses until it is paid. The launch, final files and source code are released only after full payment.
Your content and approvals
You provide accurate text, images, logos, business details and access to accounts, unless the proposal says I create them. You confirm you have the right to use everything you send.
Please send feedback or approval within 5 working days. If nothing arrives within 10 working days after a reminder, that milestone is treated as approved so the project can move on. Late content or feedback moves the timeline.
Revisions
Your package or proposal sets the number of revision rounds. A round is one consolidated list of changes, sent together, to work already built. Unused rounds do not carry over. Further rounds are charged as listed on the website packages page.
Change requests
Anything outside the approved scope (new pages, new features, changes to how something works, or redesigning approved work) is a change request. I reply within 2 working days with the cost and timeline effect. Work starts only after your written approval. Approved changes are invoiced with the next milestone, or upfront if larger than 20% of the project.
Pauses
You can pause a project once for up to 30 days at no cost. After 60 days with no response from you, the project is closed and completed work is invoiced. Restarting is rescheduled around other work and may be re-quoted.
Cancellation and refunds
Either of us can cancel in writing. You pay for the work completed up to the cancellation date, measured against the milestones in the proposal. If you have paid more than that, the difference is refunded within 14 days; if less, the difference is invoiced. Completed and paid-for work is delivered to you as it stands.
Bug-fix support
For the support period in your package or proposal, I fix free of charge anything that does not work as described in the agreed scope, on the browsers and devices tested. Not covered: new features or content, changes made by others to the code or hosting, third-party service outages, and browser or platform updates released after launch that break standard behaviour.
Ownership and handover
After full payment, you own the custom code, design and content created for your project. I keep ownership of my pre-existing tools, templates and reusable components, and give you a permanent, non-exclusive licence to use them as part of your project. Open-source libraries and third-party assets stay under their own licences.
I may show the finished project in my portfolio unless you ask me not to in writing.
Domains, hosting and third-party costs
Domains, hosting, email, paid fonts and images, paid APIs, databases, payment-gateway fees and other subscriptions are paid by you, directly and in your own name wherever possible. I explain the expected recurring costs before you pay anything.
Maintenance after support
After the support period, fixes, updates and changes are covered by a maintenance plan, a small change pack, or a separate quote. Maintenance does not include hosting fees, new features, 24/7 monitoring or guaranteed uptime.
No guarantees on outside results
I build to the agreed scope and test carefully. I cannot guarantee search rankings, traffic, sales, or the availability of third-party services.
Confidentiality
I keep your business information, logins and unpublished material private, and use them only for your project.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of India. Any dispute is subject to the courts of Hyderabad, Telangana.
